
Focus Financial Partners has announced the acquisition of Churchill Management Corporation by its subsidiary, Focus Partners Wealth.
This acquisition is set to close in the third quarter of 2025, pending standard closing conditions.
This marks the first external acquisition for Focus Partners Wealth since its rebranding in January this year.
Furthermore, the addition of Churchill is expected to increase Focus Partners Wealth’s regulatory assets under management by approximately $9.4bn, based on figures from 31 March 2025.

Established in 1963 and headquartered in Los Angeles, Churchill Management offers investment management and financial planning services to clients across the US.

Following the completion of the acquisition, the Churchill team will have access to a range of client services, while Focus Partners Wealth will benefit from Churchill’s growth-oriented team.
Initially, Churchill will operate as a division of Focus Partners Wealth before fully integrating into the company.
Churchill president Randy Conner said: “Throughout our more than 60 years of serving clients, our core principle has been to meet and exceed our clients’ financial goals using a comprehensive, multi-strategy approach to investing.”
Berkshire Global Advisors acted as the exclusive financial advisor for Churchill, while RBC Capital Markets served as the exclusive financial advisors for Focus Partners Wealth during the transaction.
Recently, Focus Financial Partners named Adam Birenbaum as president and Justin Ferri as chief operating officer (COO). Both will report to CEO Michael Nathanson and bring prior experience within the company.
