Focus adds Stevens First Principles Investment Advisors to its network

Focus Financial Partners has expanded its footprint with the addition of California-based Stevens First Principles Investment Advisors.

Stevens tends to HNWIs, offering them financial planning and investment services.

The business was founded by Steve Yamshon, who along with his team will join the BFS Wealth Management team.

Stevens will become part of Focus partner firm Benefit Financial Services Group (BFSG).

The team at Stevens will operate out of BFSG’s Irvine office.

Apart from Irvine, BFSG also a branch in Phoenix.

The deal is slated to conclude in the third quarter of this year.

Focus founder, CEO and chairman Rudy Adolf said: “Stevens First adds substantial scale to BFS Wealth Management and expands BFSG’s presence in the important Orange County market.

“This transaction will help Stevens First enhance the services it provides to its clients while also promoting the continuity of its business.

“Transactions like this demonstrate the scale benefits that our entrepreneurial partnership offers, as well as our ability to provide succession planning solutions to RIAs joining our partner firms.”

The latest deal is said to be the third deal of BFSG since 2016.

In 2016, the firm merged with Powers Capital Investments.

A year later, BFSG merged operations with PacWest Financial Management- an advisory company based in Arizona.
