Switzerland’s Falcon Private Bank has appointed Roberto Grassi as its new chairman, replacing Christian Wenger who decided to leave after a spell of over 12 years at the bank.

Grassi has been serving as CEO at Swiss consulting firm Fidinam Group since 2001. He also is deputy chairman of Banca Stato Cantone Ticino, deputy chairman of the Lugano Commodity Trading Association and board member of the Ticino Chamber of Commerce.

Falcon Private Bank CEO Martin Keller said: “Together with Roberto Grassi and the Board of Directors, our management team and staff are fully committed to drive forward our transformation to future growth.

“We will continue to focus on initiatives strengthening our position as wealth manager embracing digital innovations and a differentiated product offering for the benefit of our clients.”

Earlier this month, the bank named Martin Keller as its new CEO. Keller succeeded Walter Berchtold stepped down after a year-long stint at the firm.
