A team previously managing over $600m in assets at Northwestern Mutual has launched Canopy Wealth Management in the US.

The team includes Eric Raether, Ernest Moosherr, Rick Mida, David Muehl, as well as Joe Mayone.

“The purpose of forming Canopy Wealth Management is to better help clients achieve their financial goals by utilising cutting-edge technology and best in-class tools,” Moosherr noted.

Canopy will serve as an independent wealth management and advisory firm, with focus on customised portfolio management and wealth planning.

The firm has offices located in Middleton, Wisconsin and Southfield, Michigan.

TD Ameritrade Institutional will offer all custodial, clearing and trading support to Canopy.
