Estera expands into Luxembourg

Estera, a fiduciary and administration business spun out of law firm Appleby, has forayed into in Luxembourg market by creating a new entity, Estera (Luxembourg).

The launch of the new unit follows the company’s completion of acquisition of Headstart, a corporate and trust services business based out of Luxembourg.

Christophe Gaul and Manuel Mouget, managing directors of Headstart, will continue to lead the rebranded company, Estera said.

The new business will offers corporate and trust services to clients across private equity and real estate firms, institutional clients and HNWIs.

Estera CEO Farah Ballands said: “We are delighted to welcome Christophe, Manuel and the Luxembourg team to the Estera group.”

Christophe said: “It is important that we align ourselves with the Estera brand and values. Building a presence in Luxembourg, one of the world’s most important jurisdictions for funds and corporate services, allows us to broaden our existing service and jurisdictional offering and increase the choice we offer to clients.”
