Equinox Funds, an alternative investments provider, has partnered with BlueCrest Capital Management, a hedge fund company, to debut Equinox BlueCrest Systematic Macro Fund (EBCIX).
Offering access to a trading strategy developed by BlueCrest, the Equinox BlueCrest Systematic Macro Fund aims to deliver returns that have relatively low correlations with traditional asset classes.

According to Equinox Funds, its new mutual fund’s strategy trades over150 markets across the globe, including commodities, currencies, fixed income and equities indices to target specific market opportunities.
Equinox Funds president and CEO Robert Enck said, "We are seeking to provide investors with different sources of return than traditional investments and other trend-following strategies."
"Ultimately, when added to an overall portfolio, we believe the Fund may offer significant contributions in terms of helping to potentially reduce risk and enhance returns over time."
