Swiss private bank EFG International has named Patrick Ramsey as the new head of Continental Europe & Middle East Region, which is said to be EFG’s second biggest region in terms of assets under management.

Ramsey, who will also be part of the company’s global business committee, will assume his new role in January next year. He will report directly to EFG CEO Giorgio Pradelli.

Ramsey will replace Adrian Kyriazi, who has held the position since 2018.

Kyriazi will continue to support EFG as a senior adviser in the future, noted the company.

He most recently worked as the head of wealth management and member of the executive committee at CA Indosuez in Switzerland.

During his career, he also held various senior positions including general manager of Barclays Bank Suisse, country manager Switzerland for Barclays Group and general manager and CEO of Merrill Lynch Bank (Suisse).
