Darwin Investment has hired Anthony Wolfe from Phoenix Fund Services to boost its sales to wealth managers and advisers, FT Adviser reported.

In his new role, Wolfe will be responsible for promoting Darwin’s flagship £37.1 million (US$24.4 million) fund, TM Darwin Multi Asset fund.

The fund is run by David Jane, former head of equities investments at M&G Investment Management.

Prior to Phoenix Fund Services, Wolfe previously held senior business development roles at Cofunds, Cogent Investment Operations and GT Wealth Management.

Commenting on the appointment, Jane said: "The multi-asset fund continued to develop a successful track record and Wolfe’s appointment would enable the group to reach into the wealth management and advisory sectors."
