In its eighth year, the honor recognizes top-performing, "C-suite," information technology (IT) executives in Northeast Ohio who strategically use innovative technology solutions to help the business achieve its goals.
Danczak oversees all facets of technology for the firm, including strategy, applications, infrastructure, support and execution. He also uses his experience in various industries and with Fortune 500 IT systems and processes to consult with clients of the firm.
Some of Cohen & Company’s key advancements during Danczak’s tenure have been in the areas of finance, billing and collections management, scheduling, client segmentation and customer relationship management (CRM).
"We recognize that Mark joins a select few in the IT industry who even qualify for this honor, and fewer still who are recognized as finalists," says Randy Myeroff, CEO of Cohen & Company. "Mark’s leadership, a remarkably talented IT team, and our firm’s commitment to using technology strategically and efficiently have put our IT initiatives on par with the largest, most sophisticated companies in our region."
CIO of the Year winners will be announced at a banquet on Tuesday, April 16, 2013, at LaCentre Conference & Banquet Facility in Westlake, Ohio.
