Tony Akrasi, Andrew Little and Turon Miah, who have been at Barclays Wealth for five, six and seven years respectively, will join CSWM’s London advisory desk.

All the three stockbrokers will report to Symon Hawken, head of wealth management in London.

Neil Darke said one of the recent industry themes is the growing demand for advisory services from clients who want to take a more active involvement in the management of their assets, so growing their capabilities is a natural next step.

"A strong advisory offering has long been a core element of CSWM’s client-centric proposition and we are pleased the team felt we offered a supportive and engaging environment for them and their clients," Darke added.

CSWM manages assets of £7.9bn under management and administration, on behalf of over 9,000 clients, in London, the Channel Islands, Isle of Man and Geneva.
