Verona Smith, Cofunds director of marketing is the latest senior member to exit the platform, following Legal and General’s acquisition of the firm.

Smith’s exit follows the departure of chief executive Martin Davis and operations director Stephen Mohan.

Smith, who has worked at the platform for six years, was previously head of proposition before changing roles earlier this year.

It is understood that Smith is in talks over joining another provider.

The latest changes mean the vast majority of Cofunds’ previous management team has now left the business.

L&G acquired the 75% of Cofunds it did not already own in March for £131 million, following months of negotiation between the businesses.
