Charles Monat Group, a life insurance broker for high net worth individuals, has appointed Martin Wong as the new CEO for its Singapore business.

Wong will also join as the group’s partner and shareholder. In the new role, he will oversee the expansion of the firm’s South East Asia business.

He will assume the new responsibility on 5 November 2018, subject to regulatory nod, and will report to the firm’s CEO Yves Guelat.

Wong most recently served at Jardine Lloyd Thompson Private Client Services, where he held various roles such as general manager, deputy CEO, and CEO for Singapore. He previously also worked as the vice president at Merrill Lynch.
