British wealth manager Brewin Dolphin has set up a new office in Royal Tunbridge Wells, Kent.

The office will cater to both existing clients in the local region as well as new clients, offering them financial planning and investment management advice.

It will be partly staffed by some employees from the firm’s Reigate and London offices.

Brewin Dolphin regional director William Hepburne-Scott said: “The advice gap is real, and changes such as pension freedoms have meant seeking advice at key moments in your life has never been more important.

“We look forward to helping new clients in the South-East from our new office.”

The new location will be headed by Lee Clark, who also leads the Reigate office of Brewin Dolphin.

Clark noted: “We’re seeing an increasing need for trusted and expert advisers to take the strain from those who need help with their finances in these uncertain times.

“We look forward to becoming a part of the local community.”

Brewin Dolphin’s latest office opening comes shortly after the launch of its Bath office.

The Bath office launch is the result of the firm’s takeover of Epoch Wealth Management.

Notably, Brewin Dolphin recently struck a €44m deal for the acquisition of Investec Group’s Irish wealth management unit.
