Assante Wealth Management (Canada) has tapped cloud content management provider Box to support its digital transformation.
Through the partnership, the wealth manager’s advisers and assistants will be able to get a complete view of their CRM data and documents.
The vendor’s native collaborative features are said to cut down the time required by advisers to find, create and edit documents.
Box Canadian vice-president Adam Drew said: “Assante is equipping its advisory network, customers and partners to work in a new, flexible, frictionless, and completely digital way.”
A subsidiary of CI Financial, Assante manages around $45bn in assets. The firm has a client base of 300,000.
The services suite of Assante includes investment management, financial, estate, tax and insurance planning, and legacy planning.
Assante vice-president of dealer services Bruce Plaskett said: “With 850 professional advisors serving more than 300,000 clients in Canada, we needed a platform to help us securely manage and share our content,”
“Moving our adviser teams off their legacy systems enables us to unify our content across multiple teams, while automating our content workflows makes us even more efficient and productive.”
Last month, US-based investment bank Morgan Stanley selected Box to launch an encrypted document sharing portal for clients called Digital Vault.
