BNY Mellon has strengthened its wealth management team in Chicago, Seattle and Palm Beach Gardens, Florida with new hires.

In Chicago, BNY Mellon has hired three directors including Paul Goodrich as a senior director for business development, Edward Costello as a senior director for portfolio management, and Robert Mitchell as a managing director and member of the firm’s national family advisor team, reported Bank Investment Consultant.

Prior to joining BNY Mellon, Goodrich and Costello worked with US Trust, while Mitchell worked with Northern Trust.

In Seattle, the firm has appointed Thomas Ryan – a former financial advisor with UBS Financial Services – as a senior director for business development. Additionally, it has also appointed two assistant portfolio managers and a fiduciary services professional to the Seattle office.

The publication added that BNY Mellon has hired Christopher McDermott as a senior director for business development in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida.

Prior to joining BNY, McDermott served as a financial advisor with AllianceBernstein in West Palm Beach, and earlier to this, he served as a co-founder and senior managing director with Bond Street Holdings.
