BMO Harris Financial Advisors (BHFA) has named Lynne Shapiro Smith as its new COO.
Based in Chicago, Smith will be responsible for managing BHFA’s field operation and customer experience efforts. She will work alongside the leadership team to serve mass affluent clients.

In the new role, she will report to the firm’s president Wallace Harris.
Smith most recently served as the head of strategy for the wealth management business at Voya Financial.
She also held the role of executive vice president for the institutional plan services and chief compliance officer at Voya Financial.
Smith previously also had stints at Smith Barney, Citigroup, as well as Prudential Securities.
