Berkeley Law, a London-based wealth advice firm, has partnered with Latin American wealth specialist Colin Maltby to launch a new joint venture, Berkeley LatAm.

The new venture will serve and advise international high and ultra-high-net-worth (HNW) individuals and families, their advisors, and family offices.

Based in Argentina and Uruguay, Berkeley LatAm will be supported by the firm’s London team, according to International Adviser.

Berkeley LatAm will offer services such as succession planning, international investment structuring and commercial work for family offices.

Maltby will serve as director of Berkeley LatAm. He has previously held roles at UBS and Coutts and has more than 20 years experience in the high and ultra-high-net worth (UHNW) advisory market.

Nick Rucker, partner at Berkeley Law, said: "We see South America as an untapped market in terms of access to high quality wealth advisory services.
