Established in 2010 and based in Geneva, WIZE was created to address a gap in the wealth management sector.
The company provides a single platform for external asset managers and private banks, covering portfolio management, CRM, compliance processes and order management.
WIZE was founded by Cédric Baiker, who serves as its chief executive and chief technology officer.
The company works with more than 120 financial institutions in 27 countries and has a staff of 60 across Geneva, Zurich and Singapore.
WIZE founder, CEO and CTO Cédric Baiker said: “We are proud of the platform and reputation we have built among wealth managers and banks across Europe and beyond, and we are just getting started. Choosing Banyan was about finding a partner who shares that long-term vision. Banyan invests in businesses, people, and products rather than seeking short-term returns.
“Joining Banyan gives us a strong software partner to help lift us to the next level, and provide continuity to our customers and team. Together we can expand further into other markets, build AI capabilities deeper into the platform, and continue to serve our customers with the same quality they have always trusted us for.”
Banyan has more than 100 portfolio companies across North and South America, Europe and APAC.
Banyan Software operating partner Kay-Ingo Greve said: “Cédric, Pierre, and the WIZE team have built something genuinely hard to replicate: a platform trusted across the full spectrum of wealth management, from independent asset managers to private banks, each with its own regulatory and operational demands that leave no room for error.
“That range, and the depth of expertise behind it, is exactly what drew us to WIZE. With management staying on, we’re aligned on the same goal – backing a team that knows this market better than anyone and sees no limits.”
