AxiomSL, a provider of regulatory reporting and risk management solutions, has expanded its European presence by opening a new office in Wroc?aw, Poland.

The Wroc?aw office will initially employ a team of 15 staff, who will be responsible for developing and implementing new regulatory solutions for the Central and Eastern European markets.

The team will also helping firms in reducing the cost and complexity of compliance by consolidating all of their regulatory calculations and reporting onto AxiomSL’s strategic platform.

AxiomSL said that financial firms in Central and Eastern Europe are required to comply with a range of pan-European and global regulations, including CRD IV (COREP, FINREP, the LCR, NSFR and ALMM), EMIR, MiFID II, CRS (AEI) and IFRS 9.

In 2015, AxiomSL has already opened offices in Luxembourg and Amsterdam, grew the number of staff in Europe by 30% as well as added coverage of a wide range of regulatory calculation and reporting requirements in France, Spain, Germany and Sweden.

AxiomSL chief operating officer EMEA Ed Royan said: "Our new office in Poland will become an important hub for our work throughout Central and Eastern Europe.
