Apex Fintech Solutions CEO Bill Capuzzi said: “For firms to keep pace with today’s investors, they need backend systems that are fast, flexible, and secure.

“Our alliance with FusionIQ gives financial institutions a clearer path to launch, scale, and innovate, so they can spend less time on integration and more time delivering the digital-first experiences their clients expect.”

Mutual clients will be able to combine Apex’s brokerage, custody and clearing capabilities with FusionIQ’s platform, including digital advice, self-directed investing, digital model marketplace and fin-TAMP capabilities, within a single technology stack.

The combined offering is intended to reduce integration complexity and shorten time-to-market for banks, credit unions, registered investment advisors, broker-dealers and other institutions seeking to modernise their wealth management and investing services.

FusionIQ CEO Eric Noll said: “Our platform gives institutions the flexibility to deploy digital wealth solutions on their terms.

“By combining our platform with Apex’s proven infrastructure, we’re removing friction from the integration process and empowering our mutual clients to move faster — whether they’re launching a new digital advice offering or scaling an existing wealth management programme.”

In June, FusionIQ acquired Marstone, a US-based digital wealth technology company, bringing together two platforms serving banks, credit unions, wealth managers and their customers.

The combined business will offer a digital wealth platform for institutions looking for investment and financial planning tools for individuals at different stages of building wealth.
