AlphaCore Wealth Advisory has acquired Brave Family Advisors, a wealth management firm managing $700m in client assets.
The deal broadens AlphaCore’s footprint in the northeastern US, supporting its longer-term expansion plans.

Brave was established in 1992 and has worked with high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth families for more than 30 years.
Its leadership team, made up of founder Brett Haire and president Scott Morrison, will join AlphaCore along with eight staff members, among them four advisers.
The acquisition brings additional personnel, operating resources and service support, which AlphaCore said will underpin further development in Summit, New Jersey, and Tiverton, Rhode Island.

Brave’s clients will be able to use AlphaCore’s internal tax planning and tax preparation services, as well as trust and estate co-ordination, charitable planning, family governance support and investment research focused on private markets.
They will also have access to AlphaCore Family Office Services, which provides co-ordinated support for the financial, operational and legacy planning requirements of high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth families.
