The Adi Dassler International Family Office (ADIFO), a multi-family office, has started US operations in Miami and Tampa, Florida.

The privately-owned, independent firm was set up by the three grandsons of Adidas founder Adi Dassler.

The multi-family office was originally based in Nassau, Bahamas.

Its CEO Julian “Brad” Bradham, fellow founding partner Allen Johnson, and the Adi Dassler family restructured the firm and relocated the base to Miami.

Johnson said: “Our goal has always been to serve the needs of our clients on a comprehensive basis. The additional services we can now offer through ADIFO are actually 70 years in the making.

“The benefits to our clients are simply a formalisation of what the Adi Dassler family has been accessing and providing to its family members for generations.

Partnership with Apollon Wealth Management

At the same time, ADIFO joined forces with RIA Apollon Wealth Management, which is backed by Merchant Investment Management.

The alliance will enable ADIFO to offer financial planning, technology, client support, as well as business platform services.

Apollon CEO Michael Dolberg calls ADIFO a “perfect fit”.

Dolberg noted:  “We’re thrilled to add a family office of this caliber to our expanding network.

“Apollon continues to broaden its client and family relationships, while also actively growing and looking to acquire select advisory companies and top performers in major cities nationwide.”

Adi Dassler grandson Horst Bente also welcomed the development.

Bente said: “Our values and goals are aligned, and we are yet again afforded an opportunity to show leadership and value add in the world of asset management.”
