Out of the total IT job titles posted by Barclays, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 78.59% in June 2021, and a 17.52% growth over May 2021, while Miscellaneous Computer Occupations claimed a share of 12.32% in June 2021, and registered a 5.17% an increase. Database and Network Administrators and Architects held a share of 7.68% in June 2021, a 2.7% rise from May 2021.

Asia-Pacific emerged as the leading region in the global banking and payments IT hiring activity in June 2021 with a 73.94% share, which marked a 16.93% growth over the previous month.
Europe stood next with 16.36%, registering a 24.3% month-on-month decline. North America was the third leading region with a 9.09% share and a 40.63% growth over May 2021.

Junior Level jobs lead Barclays IT hiring activity in June 2021
Junior Level jobs held a share of 71.52%, up by 0.28% from May 2021. Mid Level positions with a 26.26% share, a growth of 47.73% compared with the previous month.
