Prometeia Strengthens Its European Presence with an Office in Frankfurt
Prometeia is strengthening its international presence with the opening of a representative office in Frankfurt, the nerve centre of monetary policy and banking supervision decisions at the European Central Bank (ECB).
Prometeia has been working alongside European banks for years on compliance and regulatory issues, with an approach that combines methodological expertise, direct knowledge of supervisory processes, and technology.
This commitment is further evidenced by the fact that, for the second consecutive time, Prometeia has been selected by the ECB to support on-site inspections and investigations into European banks’ internal models under the Single Supervisory Mechanism (SSM). In this work, Prometeia collaborates with a select group of leading international consulting and auditing firms, contributing to the banking supervisor’s independent assessments.
“The Frankfurt office is the natural evolution of our journey,” says Angelo Tantazzi, chairman of Prometeia.
“We have been present for years in the institutional heart of European banking, through the concrete work our teams carry out with and for EU institutions. This presence solidifies and makes visible a dedication that was already real, available to clients and partners operating within the regulatory and supervisory framework.”
