Labuan, Gibraltar financial regulators sign cooperation agreement
The Labuan Financial Services Authority (Labuan FSA) has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Gibraltar Financial Services Commission (Gibraltar FSC) for mutual cooperation and exchange of information in the financial services sector.

The MoU was signed by the director-general of Labuan FSA, Ahmad Hizzad Baharuddin and the CEO of Gibraltar FSC, Samantha Barrass on 29 August 2014.
The agreement also covers areas of consolidated supervision, enforcement, research and development, on-site examination and training and staff development.
The pact is expected to further enhance the stature of both Labuan and Gibraltar as a preferred business destination globally.
