BNP Paribas wealth management unit reported a 7.1% increase in assets under management in its 2012 third quarter results year-on-year.
Asset inflows jumped to 265bn ($338bn) from 247bn reported in September 2011.

Down hill slip for revenue
There was, however, a 4.5% drop in revenue year-on-year in the bank’s wealth and asset management division.
Revenue fell to 682m in the third quarter of 2012 from 714m on a year-on-year basis.

By GlobalDataOperating income also slid to 164m from 170m reported at the same time last year.
Pre tax income declined slightly to 180m from 183m in the third quarter of 2011.
