TOBAM, a Paris-based quantitative asset manager, has appointed Rudyard Ekindi as head of marketing division to reach its marketing goals.

The appointment of new head will allow the company to reach its marketing goals.

Ekindi, who previously worked as director at Credit Suisse Asset Management, will work towards TOBAM’s efforts to promote the benefits of the Maximum Diversification approach towards investors and the investment community.

Ekindi will report to TOBAM business development global head managing director Christophe Roehri.

TOBAM president Yves Choueifaty was quoted by Investment Europe as saying that they are committed to explaining the dangers of the market-cap weighted index and accompanying investors as they increasingly seek to adopt more efficient and strategic solutions.

"Promoting our thought leadership and unique Anti-Benchmark strategy to a wider audience is instrumental to our business development as more and more investors move away from the benchmark. Rudyard has the right profile to help us strengthen these initiatives and I am pleased to welcome him to the team," Choueifaty added.
