Sanlam Private Investments has expands its presence in the north of England by appointing Richard Kirkham as an investment manager in its Harrogate office.

The move follows the hiring of Craig McPherson as business development manager for the north.
Kirkham most recently worked as a consultant for Midas Investment Trust. He has also worked in UK small and mid cap equity sales at firms such as Matrix Capital, Oriel Securities and Old Mutual.
Earlier to this, he served as a private client investment manager at Brown Shipley in Manchester.
