Julius Baer has expanded its coverage in the north west of England with two senior level hires from Barclays Wealth.

The Zurich headquartered bank has hired Jonathan Holland and Robert Websdale as relationship managers (RMs) with the rank of directors.

The new additions will join senior RM Alan Edwards in Julius Baer’s London office. They will focus on developing the private bank’s business in the north of England, reporting to David Durlacher, head of relationship management.

Websdale has eight years of experience of wealth management with Barclays’ Manchester office, advising HNW individuals. He had previously worked in corporate banking in the north east of England.

Holland joins Julius Baer after twelve years of experience in relationship management and advising HNW and UHNW individuals. Holland has been a senior banker at Barclays’ Manchester office since 2006. Previously, he worked as an investment banker with JP Morgan and UBS.
