Wealth manager London & Capital has appointed Thomas Donlon as its new general counsel for its legal and compliance team, in an effort to drive regulatory change and business growth.
Donlon, who most recently served as a general counsel with Towry, will be tasked with the responsibility of developing the firm’s US and Carribean operations in his new role.

At the same time, Donlon will also be responsible for supporting London & Capital US family office, which manages the assets of American families living in the UK.
Referring to Donlon’s appointment, London & Capital chief operating officer Guy McGlasham said, "After the past few years of rapid growth from new client wealth, particularly among the ultra-high net worth and international community, Thomas will provide valuable advice and guidance to all our specialist business areas as they continue to grow, reducing the need to take external advice."
Donlon most recently served as a general counsel at Towry, where he participated in various key acquisitions including the acquisition of the Baker Tilly private client financial advice and investment management business, as well as advised on RDR implementation.
