Swiss private lender PKB Privatbank has deployed SunGard’s Ambit Private Banking solution suite to achieve more flexibility, operational efficiency and agility.
The Lugano-based bank has already completed system migration, reconciliation and verification processes to finalise transition to the new solution, which is expected to support the bank’s growth plans.

PKB Privatbank CEO Umberto Trabaldo Togna said: "I am very pleased that the migration was implemented so smoothly, which shows how well the whole team worked together, and that SunGard’s specialists were able to provide us with the necessary support."
Adopting to the new externally managed solution and migrating from an in-house system is expected to help the bank enhance its efficiency, reduce total ownership costs, and support the bank’s long-term growth plans.
The solution will be implemented across PKB’s all Swiss branches in Geneva, Lausanne, Zurich and Bellinzona, along with its two overseas subsidiaries in Antigua and Panama, on the same date.
