Allianz Global Investors, a UK-based asset manager, has appointed Tobias Pross as its new Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) head.
Pross, who served at the firm for 16 years, currently holds the role of the firm’s head of distribution in Europe, International Adviser reported.

Referring to the appointment, Allianz Global Investors global chief executive Elizabeth Corley said: "We are confident Tobias will build on his strong track record in consultative client delivery in this broadened role."
Corley said that Pross has showcased "considerable leadership" in refining the firm’s client offering and growing its business in EMEA.
