Swiss wealth and asset manager REYL & Cie has recruited Cédric Özazman as its new head of investments and portfolio management.

In the new role, Özazman will be responsible for making, supervising as well as implementing investment solutions for private clients managed by the bank on the basis of a discretionary or advisory mandate.

This will span asset allocation, research, analysis, and selection of individual securities and investment funds. Özazman will be supported by a team of nine experienced professionals based in Geneva and Singapore.

Özazman will report directly to CEO François Reyl, and Partner in charge of wealth management in Switzerland Lorenzo Rocco di Torrepadula.

Özazman previously served as a senior member of the bank’s investments team for over five years, having joined the group in April 2010 in the role of a financial analyst responsible for European equities selection.

Before his stint at REYL & Cie, Özazman served at KBL Swiss Private Banking in Geneva for eight years, first in the capacity of portfolio manager and later as discretionary management head.

Aditionally, the bank has also separated the position of chief strategist from the position of head of portfolio management for private clients.

The chief strategist role will continue to be held by François Savary, who also manages the bank’s asset services business line for the institutional market.
