Taiwan Financial Supervisory Commission has approved UBS Wealth Management to launch a new wealth management service branded UBS Advice in Taiwan.

UBS Advice, to be launched in July 2015, will be available to offshore high net worth individuals with assets worth more than $1m allowing them to negotiate a globally interlinked market.
UBS Strategic Investment Taiwan head CHANG Lin-yun said: "UBS Advice provides our clients with an enhanced client experience. As an active investment manager, our priority is to help clients not only preserve their wealth but also achieve their desired investment performance."
UBS group managing director and head of Wealth Management Taiwan Dennis CHEN said: "With its structured advisory approach, the service has the potential to transform the wealth management business in Taiwan."
