Coutts, the wealth unit of Royal Bank of Scotland Group, has named Mark Lund as its new non-executive director.

Lund will join Francesca Barnes in the role of an independent director on the firm’s board, responsible for offering advice and expertise to the firm for developing and implementing their new strategy.
Besides, the duo will also serve as the senior ambassadors with the firm’s stakeholders.
Lund most recently served in the position of CEO of St James’s Place and Virgin Direct. In a 30-year long financial career, Lund earlier served in the position of CEO of St James’s Place and Virgin Direct.
He also served as vice chairman at British Ski and Snowboard, a non executive director of Skipton Building Society’s financial advice business and of My CSP, as well as chairman of Equiniti’s regulated financial services businesses.

By GlobalDataAdditionally, Coutts has named Brain Mulholland as finance director of the company’s board. Mulholland joined Coutts in last February.
He also served in the wider RBS group for four years, most recently in the role of global head of capital planning. Before that, Mulholland worked in senior finance positions at Nationwide, AXA, Vodafone, as well as National Power.
