Bank of the West, a subsidiary of BNP Paribas, has appointed Doug Sherry as chief fiduciary officer within its Wealth Management Group.
In his new role, Sherry will be responsible for managing the bank’s fiduciary responsibilities to the affluent, HNW and UHNW clients.

Sherry’s hire is part of the group’s focus on expanding its solutions for the complex needs of wealth management clients.
Sherry previously held roles at major financial institutions including fiduciary management responsibilities for trust and investment management businesses, where he was responsible for growing relationships and assets under management, drive operating efficiencies and expand partnerships with other institutions.
He has over 20 years of experience in fiduciary oversight and administration.
