EFG Hermes, an Egypt-based investment bank, has named Sadiq Hussain as managing director within its asset management division to head business development.
Based in Dubai, Hussain will be reporting directly to Amr Seif, head of EFG Hermes Asset Management.

In his new role, Hussain will be responsible for enhancing the firm’s sales and distribution reach globally.
Prior to joining EFG Hermes, Hussain worked with JP Morgan Securities in Dubai and was most recently head of MENA equities and global frontier markets.
Previously, he has also held roles with ING Barings (New York), Bank of America Merrill Lynch (Hong Kong) and AKD Investment Management (Karachi).
