PwC U.S. has expanded its Private Company Services (PCS) practice throughout the Florida state, which is experiencing consistently strong GDP growth over the last two years.

The company will offer a wide range of services including audit and assurance, as well as tax and advisory services to private companies, their owners and HNW individuals in the state.

PwC said it expects to grow its number of professionals in the region by nearly 50% across the next three years across its offices in Tampa, Miami, Jacksonville, Orlando and Ft. Lauderdale.

Rich Stovsky, US leader of PwC’s Private Company Services practice, said: "We’ve expanded our national practice exponentially and expect Florida to be our fastest growing market for private company services to date. Through our global network and local professionals we will help companies in Florida to meet business demands and remain a key driver of the overall US economy."

As part of its expansion, David Zimmerman has been appointed as Florida PCS leader. He will be based in the firm’s Tampa office.

Prior to joining PwC, Zimmerman worked as a tax partner which involved assisting private companies on corporate income tax issues, international tax, state and local taxation, mergers and acquisition planning, due diligence analysis and tax minimization strategies.
