JPMorgan Asset Management has named Michael Falcon as new CEO of Asia Pacific, global investment management.

Falcon, who is currently head of JPMorgan Asset Management (JPM)’s Asia Pacific Funds business, will replace Jed Laskowitz in his new role.

Now, Falcon will report to global investment management CEO Chris Willcox as well as to GIM clients head George Gatch for his funds business role.

Prior to joining JPMorgan Asia Pacific, Falcon held roles with Merrill Lynch and Chase Manhattan Bank.

Additionally, Laskowitz will relocate to New York to serve full time as co-head of global investment management solutions. He will also continue to serve on the board of China International Fund Management, JPMorgan Asset Management’s JV in China.
