UBS Americas has hired former Barclays executive John Houlihan as new head for its wealth management group in New York’s Long Island region.
In his new role, Houlihan will serve as UBS’ newest complex manager and manage the firm’s Long Island, N.Y. complex.

The Long Island complex manages five branches across Long Island including Jericho, Garden City, Melville, Southampton, and Port Jefferson.
Houlihan joined UBS from Barclays, where he served as regional manager for wealth and investment management.
Prior to that, he worked for nearly two decades at Morgan Stanley as a financial advisor and later a branch manager of the firm’s office in Smithtown.
