Gresham House Asset Management has hired Rupert Robinson, former CEO of Schroders Private Bank, as its new managing director.

In his new role, Robinson will work alongside CEO Tony Dalwood and will be responsible for developing the firm’s asset management business.

Robinson joined Gresham House from Schroders Private Bank, where he worked as head of investment management and chief executive.

He started his career at NM Rothschild and later served as head of wealth management and a member of the group executive committee at Rothschild Asset Management. Robinson has 30 years of expertise in the private wealth and asset management industry.

Dalwood said: "Gresham House has seen significant change in the first nine months of this year as we develop the asset management business. Rupert’s appointment is yet another milestone and we have some exciting opportunities in the pipeline for the remainder of the year."
