Carey Olsen opens office in Singapore

Offshore law firm Carey Olsen has opened an office in Singapore that will provide offshore legal services to its clients in the region.

The Singapore office, which will be headed by managing partner Linda Lee, will initially focus on corporate and commercial transactions including capital markets, mergers & acquisitions, banking & finance and investment funds.

Lee joined Carey Olsen from Allen & Overy’s Singapore and Hong Kong corporate practices, where she worked as a partner.

Also, senior associates Elizabeth Killeen and Alan Hughes will join Lee’s team from Carey Olsen’s BVI corporate team.

The firm currently has 23 partners and over 100 lawyers.
