Luxembourg-based KBL European Private Bankers (KBL epb) has hired Rachel Hamen as group chief financial officer (CFO, replacing Yves Pitsaer.

Hamen, who will assume her new role in February 2016, will also join the Executive Committee of the group.

Hamen, who has over two decades of experience in senior roles, joined KBL from State Street Bank in Luxembourg, where he served as CFO, Continental Europe. She started her career in 1993.

Pitsaer, who currently serves as Group CFRO, will remain a member of the executive committee as group chief risk officer, with additional responsibility for the group-wide supervision and coordination of relations with relevant regulatory authorities.
