Rathbone Investment Management has expanded its in-house financial planning team by hiring Gaius Jones as new head of financial planning.

In his new role, Jones will be based in London. He joined Rathbones from Ashcourt Rowan Financial Planning, where he served as CEO and led the re-engineering the firm’s approach to financial planning.

Prior to this, Jones was member of the board at Towry and also worked at John Scott and Partners in 1999. He has more than 25 years’ experience of working with clients and their professional advisers.
