Edmond de Rothschild Group has bolstered its economic research department by appointing Mathilde Lemoine as new group chief economist.
Lemoine, who will assume her new role on 7 January 2016, will report directly to Ariane de Rothschild, chair of the group executive committee.

Prior to joining Edmond de Rothschild, Lemoine worked as head of economic research and market strategy at HSBC France.
She also worked in various French ministerial cabinets, notably as an advisor on macroeconomic and tax issues to the Prime Minister.
