UK-based investment management firm Downing has acquired a £19m MFM SGWM Managed fund from SG Wealth.
Additionally, the firm has also appointed SG Wealth director Neil Shillito as new investment consultant for the fund.

The managed fund will be renamed the Downing Diversified Global Managers Fund and sold to the IFA community.
The fund will now be managed by Judith MacKenzie, manager of Downing Micro Cap Growth fund alongside Downing’s five-strong equity team.
