American fund manager AllianceBernstein has hired Jamie Hammond as new UK chief executive and head of the EMEA client group.
Hammond, who will be replacing Tim Ryan, will report to Robert Keith, global head of the client group.

In his new role, Hammond will oversee the fund manager’s European, Middle Eastern and African businesses.
Hammond, who has 30 years of industry experience, joined AllianceBernstein from Franklin Templeton where he worked as managing director for Europe, heading its retail and institutional efforts across the region.
Prior to that, he served as the sales & marketing director for Europe at Fiduciary Trust International and also worked as national sales manager at Hill Samuel Asset Management.
