Hycroft, a US-based specialty investment bank focused exclusively on the alternative investments market, has appointed Christopher Cooke as its new managing director to lead the firm’s international expansion.

Based in London office, Cooke will oversee the Hycroft’s activities in Europe, Middle East, and Asia.

Cooke, who will lead the firm’s international limited partner advisory practice, will also support Hycroft’s general partner clients in their financing and restructuring needs.

Prior to joining Hycroft, Cooke served as a managing director at HSBC Bank in London. He also worked with Greenhill London, Lehman Brothers and Goldman Sachs.

Cooke has expertise in sourcing and diligencing fund investments, co-investments and direct investments, and also in complex fund and general partner restructurings.
