Henry Ho Hon Cheong joins Rothschild as non-executive chairman for South East Asia with effect from today. Based in Rothschild’s Singapore office, he will work closely with the Global Financial Advisory and Wealth Management and Trust teams across South East Asia to continue the development of Rothschild’s businesses in the region.
Ho was a managing director at Temasek and chief executive officer of one of their investee companies – PT Bank Danamon Indonesia – prior to joining Rothschild. He has also previously held various senior roles at Citibank in Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand.

Apart from that, Ho’s extensive experience includes stints with PT Bank International Indonesia and Saudi American Bank in Saudi Arabia.
