Equity Trustees has hired Emma Pritchard as a new research and evaluation manager to oversee its growing private philanthropy in Australia.
In her new role, Pritchard will be responsible for developing and managing a strategy and framework to better understand and demonstrate the outcomes of grants awarded.

Pritchard will report to Equity Trustee general manager of philanthropy Tabitha Lovett.
Pritchard has nearly two decades of research and evaluation experience, including 10 years in international development and four years in the community legal sector.
Before joining Equity Trustees, Pritchard worked as the senior researcher and evaluation adviser for child protection at World Vision Australia (WVA).
She also held various roles in the community legal sector, including with Justice Connect (formerly PILCH), the Western Community Legal Centre in Melbourne and the Women’s Legal Service of Victoria.

In 2015, Equity Trustees had distributed more than $70m on behalf of the charitable trusts and foundations.
